When my family and I took our tour with you to Mt. Etna in June, I promised that I would send you copies of two photo that we took while on that tour. I apologize for taking so long to send picture. I do not have any good excuses for taking so long other than life is busy.

I did want to tell you how very much we enjoyed meeting you and having you as a tour guide. Your knowledge of Mt. Etna and your friendliness made for a wonderful day. All seven of us really enjoyed it and still talk about how much fun it was. You are good at what you do and we are so happy that we hired you. Good Luck and enjoy the pictures.

Hello Sebastiano,

I just wanted to write back to you regarding our tour today with Antonio. We could not of asked for a better tour guide. Antonio was absolutely wonderful and perfectly catered to our needs. With our 5 year old daughter, we had to make quite a few stops and he was always very attentionnate to our needs. We were unfortunately unable to get to the top of Mt Etna since our daughter felt a little car sick but Antonio just re-ajusted the tour. He was so nice to us and to our daughter and gave us great information about the region and the volcano. I will recommend Sicily Life to everyone who we know who comes to Sicily. Everytime we travel, we always refer to the website Tripadvisor and I plan on writing great reviews on that website.

Thank you once again for the quick and very informative e-mails you have written to me and if you could please thank Antonio once again from our part. We will keep great memories of our trip here thanks to him.

Just a note to thank you for the wonderful service I and my family received from Sicily Life during our stay in Taormina. The trip we had to the Alcantara Park, the Capuchin Friars Convent and the wine -tasting at Murgo was a wonderful and lasting memory. Our driver (Domenico) was very polite, helpful and well informed. Not speaking much Italian, it was very helpful to be able to ring your office and be answered in a very professional manner in good English. We are writing to say how much we enjoyed our day with Antonio. He was a really excellent driver and guide. We had a lovely scenic drive up Mount Etna and he managed to get us to the top ahead of all the coach tours so it was really peaceful. It was a bonus to visit the family farm and tasting the honey and olive oil and the wonderful view from the winery. Taormina was beautiful and he took us to lots of scenic spots to take our photographs.

We have known Seby since we first traveled to Taormina nine years ago. He provides excellent, customized tours and ground service throughout Sicily.

We celebrated our 25th Anniversary on the May 16 sailing. Sebastiano arranged for Rosario and I to "RENEW OUR VOWS" in a 1500 year old church in a town high up the mountain overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. After, we walked through the town of Taormina, ending with a private lunch in Castelmola with a specially baked "25th Anniversary Cake" by his father, the baker. Can't get more personalized service than that.

Happy Sailing to all future Azamara Quest and Journey passengers. You are in for a real treat!

Just a quick line to say a sincere thank you for helping us enjoy our holiday. I really appreciated the way you organised our tour - thankyou for being so flexible, friendly and professional. We really appreciated the extra resreach that you did for us to make the day so worthwhile.

Antonio was a superb guide for our day out and helped us see more of your lovely country. I especially valued Antonio's thoughtfulness at the cemetry. It helped hugely not to be rushed, even when it began to rain; we felt that Antonio understood how important this special visit was for us all.

He then helped us cheer up as he took us on the most wonderful tour of Naxos and amazing hill towns before introducing us to the Gambino Vineyard. Antonio has a really special knowledge of his homeland and it was really interesting to listen and ask lots of questions - from where we could find the best restaurants to the Greek invaison of Naxos!

The family will be talking about our visit to Gambino vineyard for some time to come!

I must also say that we felt it really worthwhile booking Sicily Life to pick us up and return us to the airport - a great way to begin and to end our holiday.

We all hope you have a really long and busy summer and we will be certain to recommend you to friends.

Please forgive me for the tardiness of this email. I had intended to write you immediately after our wonderful vacation in Sicily. We look back fondly on our stay in Taormina and our visit with our cousins in the tiny village of Sclafani Bagni in the Madonie Mountains. We can't wait to return to the beautiful island of Sicily. It is my favorite place in the world.
I am sending you some photos from our tour with Luca and I'm also including a few from other places in Taromina. I hope you enjoy them. I kept a diary of our special day with Luca. I thought I'd share it with you.
Up early. 7:30 Room Service for Breakfast. We all got ready for our excursion to Mt. Etna. Riley and I walked out ahead to meet our driver.
Luca Grasso was waiting for us on the street- 23 years old...the NICEST guy!
Soon we were all on our way in a Mercedes van. Luca spoke English very well and knew a lot about his island- born in Catania. The boys were very excited about the trip but were "un po stanchi". We drove through Giardini Naxos, a small fishing village and beach resort next to Taormina, just south. Then we drove up the mountain to Etna...stopped at Santa Venerini where we visited a church and a little open square where Mama Bella met a 94 year old man named Sebastian. Then, to the village of Zafferana Etna where they make honey-"oro d'Etna". We picked up some honey souveniers and tasted some different olive oils and some delicious wines and honey. Josie was the gal there, very nice...saw the bees in the honeycomb. Luca was not afraid one bit of getting stung. Then onward up to Mt. Etna...very touristy area with lots of people and buses. The landscape looked like the moon- lava everywhere. The boys, John and I climbed up to one of the craters while Mama Bella stayed below with Luca. It took about 45 minutes all together.
The boys LOVED running around. The weather was perfect- mid 70s and a little breezy. Fa bel tempo! We walked back down, bought a few souveniers , grabbed some water, and headed down the mountain. We had lunch in Giardini Naxos at Café Angelini , friends of Luca's. We enjoyed a delicious meal of fish, pasta, formaggio-you name it, we ate it. Mangiano bene! Then back to the hotel, said our goodbyes to Luca and got his email address. We must send pictures. We had a fantastic time on Mt. Etna.
So, there you have it. Better late than never. We look forward to our next vacation to Bella Sicilia. I'd love to visit Siracusa and Agrigento some day and look forward to doing it with you.

We were all glad that we decided to do the Godfather Tour.
It was the highlight of our tour, but Taormino is beautiful.
My friend and I went to the Catholic Church at the top of the hill.
Since Mass had started a few minutes before we arrived, we were able to stay for the entire Mass.

The tour guides were very good and were waiting for us when we got off the ship.

Better Late than never. I apologize for my late response regarding our Fabulous Full day tour with you in Sicily on Thursday, May 29th, 2008. Unfortunately after such a wonderful relaxing trip, we returned home to chaos and a fried computer due to a local electrical storm. I can't believe how FAST the time has passed since our vacation. It has taken me a while but now that things are settling down and I am back on track on the home front - I didn’t want to dismiss my chance to give credit where credit was due – to our Excellent DRIVER AND GUIDE – YOU. Sebastiano, you were so well spoken and friendly that it didn’t take us long to all feel comfortable being with you. You were outgoing and knowledgeable and PATIENCE as with 8 in the group – we would sometimes wander off. Thanks to you – we absorbed the highlights as we traveled around in Sicily as we enjoyed our day getting to know each other and the beauty around us. We covered more territory than we ever expected to during our day trip at the Port of Messina and we never would have been able to accomplish so much in a day if it wasn’t for your expertise in knowing how to maneuver around the area getting us in and out of quaint shopping areas but making sure we didn’t miss out on the breathtaking views along the way. It takes a lot of practice and assertiveness to manage on such narrow, winding roads – but you did it all with ease. We enjoyed your humor and “inside stories” on the how the people in each Village live. There are too many personal highlights to list in this email but it was truly a day we will never forget especially “Walking in the Steps of the Godfather” part of the tour and the incredible stop off for a special granite ice and meeting Maria.
